Oh my goodness, how can someone be born so insanely handsome? That was my initial thought when I saw Henry Cavill’s pictures at a friend’s blog. He is known best for his role as Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk, King Henry VIII’s brother-in-law in The Tudors. I have watched a few episodes of The Tudors and I must say, I drooled! If you have not known already, The Tudors portrays the early years of King Henry VII’s monarchy, and King Henry VIII is played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Bend It Like Beckham).
Henry Cavill is a British actor, although he was born in Jersey. Did you know that Stephenie Meyer, the author of Twilight, thought that Cavill was perfect for the role of Edward Cullen? Unfortunately, by the time Twilight started filming, Cavill was already 24, and he was too manly to play the role of 17-year-old Edward Cullen. Ah, he would’ve made a very dashing Edward! Don’t mind me, I love Rob Pattinson too!
Watch out for Henry Cavill in his latest movie, Creek (2009), alongside another delicious man, Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows in Prison Break). Good news for romantic movies fans! Henry Cavill will play a leading role in a Woody Allen dark comedy called Whatever Works.
In the meantime, feast your eyes on the pictures! Hmmm…have I ever mentioned that I have a thing for British actors? ;)

Gorgeous smile! *drools*

If you’re a Sophie Kinsella fan, a self-confessed shopaholic, or even a closet shopaholic (like me!), you ‘re probably looking forward to watch the Confessions of A Shopaholic movie. I was really looking forward to it when I knew that they were making a movie based on Kinsella’s novels, but when I watched the trailer last week, I was majorly disappointed.
I really enjoyed reading all the books in the Shopaholic series, and I was hoping that Becky Bloomwood would be played by someone English, or at least with an English accent! I was shocked when I found out that Becky Bloomwood in the movie version is a New Yorker. Not that I am against the American or anything, but I love British accent. Always have, always will! Rebecca Bloomwood is played by Isla Fisher, best known for her character in The Wedding Crashers, alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. Not sure why they chose her, but let’s hope she’s good. I’m going to watch the movie, irregardless of everyone else’s comments and critics’ reviews.
Here’s the movie trailer for you to enjoy! :)

Muse is one of my favourite bands. They were so huge last year, and being featured in Twilight helped Muse gain even more fans. Muse had a concert in Malaysia in 2007 and I didn’t go. I kicked myself in the ass so many times for that! Lol!
Anyway, in case you haven’t read the Twilight novel by Stephenie Meyer, I suggest you don’t read it before watching the movie. Otherwise, you’d think that the book is better than the movie, which is true, at least from my humble opinion.
Now, the stars in Twilight are beautiful. I love the mysterious look that they all have and the way they dress! Of course those are all based on the novel, but then I think the movie portrayed the characters well. I cannot wait for the new movie, New Moon. I have yet to read the novel, but I bet it’s good.
For die-hard fans of Muse, here’s a video of Supermassive Black Hole. It’s taken from their Live at Wembley DVD. For those who didn’t know or haven’t watched Twilight, this song plays in the infamous vampire baseball scene. Enjoy the picture too! I think Jasper is super cute, in a dorky way. Now dorky guys are hot!
