Fashion Friday #7 - Rachel Bilson
This week’s Fashion Friday features one of my buddy, Shemah’s favourite celebs, Rachel Bilson! I love Rachel too since her O.C. days as Summer Roberts. :) Shemah picked out this pic too, and I love it! Since it’s spring and approaching summer in the US, short skirts are in!
Rachel is well known for her boho chic look. I love her mini skirt, particularly its tribal print. I think it’s embroidered, can’t tell from this pic. Anyway, team the mini boho skirt with a white sleeveless or halter top, and layer it with a fitted jacket on top! White top works best here compared to a black top, simply because white brings out the red in the skirt. White is also cooling, compared to black.
Tiered mini skirt could work too, and the (faux) leather mid-calf boots completes the whole look. I’m a big fan of boots-and-mini-skirt ensemble. Wear your hair like Rachel’s to look effortlessly chic, and don’t forget an oversized tote in black! Oh, lose the boots if it’s too warm. Go for beaded sandals or embroidered slippers instead. Happy spring!

Ooohh I love Rachel most for her fashion sense.. She always turns up looking effortlessly chic.. whether it’s just running out for coffee or arriving on the red carpet! She’s stunning!!
I love the look too! It’s so casual but the fitted blazer gives it a taste of high fashion at the same time. :)

The 3rd bag looks like Fendi to me. 1st one is Roxy right?? LOL! My kid sister would love that!
But still, I think it’s a great getup! If I were SW like Ane, I’d be donning something similar too.. OH ya.. and if I have oodles of cash, so i can afford to buy the getup! LOL!
