I really enjoyed the first Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel teaser trailer is cute enough to make me want to watch it. Plus, I always enjoy musicals!

In the sequel, Dave sends Alvin, Simon, and Theodore off to school, saying “it’s good for them.” Little did he know, the Chipmunks feel like “Chipmunks Out of Water” because of all the (human) kids around. Meanwhile, Ian (after the loss of the Chipmunks dealt him a serious blow) is freed from jail and searches the world for animals who can sing and dance. He happens upon the Chipettes and cannot wait to make them famous and get revenge on the Chipmunks. [Source]

Jason Lee comes back as David Seville, this time with his annoying brother, Toby, played by Zachary Levi. Did you know that the chipmunks’ speaking voices are contributed by Justin Long (Alvin), Matthew Gray Gubler (Simon) and Jesse McCartney (Theodore)?

For the Squeakquel, you will hear Anna Faris (Brittany), Christina Applegate (Jeanette) and Amy Poehler (Eleanor) as The Chipettes’ speaking voices.

The movie is scheduled to be released on 25 December 2009.

Now who is this cutie? I wouldn’t know who he is either, until I saw his pictures. He is the model in Green Day’s “Wake Me Up When September Ends” music video, opposite Evan Rachel Wood, whom he also dated in 2005 and 2006.

The English lad was born on 14 March 1986 in Billingham, England and in 1999, he was chosen to star as Billy Elliot (2000), in the movie of the same name. He has won numerous awards for his role in Billy Elliot, including BAFTA Award for Best Actor 2001.

Jamie Bell has also starred in numerous films including King Kong (alongside Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrien Brody, Andy Serkis), Flags of Our Fathers (alongside Ryan Phillippe, Adam Beach, Jesse Bradford, Paul Walker), Defiance (with Daniel Craig, Liev Schrelber, George MacKay) and Jumper (opposite Hayden Christensen).

Jamie Bell will be seen in Steven Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn as Tintin. Other stars in the movie include Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Toby Jones. The movie is scheduled to be released on 23 December 2011.

I recently saw the trailer of Surrogates at the cinema and I thought, okay, this is one movie that could be really good, or really bad. I like Bruce Willis, but I don’t know about this movie.

Surrogates (2009) is set in the year 2017, where humans don’t go out of their home. They go out in the real world and interact with other humans using robotic bodies that serve as their surrogates. The story begins when several humans are murdered when their surrogates are destroyed, and a cop (Bruce Willis) investigates the crimes using his own surrogate.

The movie is scheduled to open on 25 September 2009. Surrogates also stars Radha Mitchell (Man On Fire, Rogue, Thick as Thieves), Rosamund Pike (Die Another Day, Pride & Prejudice, Fracture) and Ving Rhames (Dawn of the Dead, Kojak, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry). The movie is directed by Jonathan Mostow (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines).
